just finished fixing my game cube's new look. it's ready for a fixative, so it's pretty much complete. I loved the charm of Windwaker and hopefully I kept the charm with my design. shame i do not have any controllers that came with it to do up as well, but give me a few days to find some in the cash converters store and i'll have a full matching set. if the set looks good, i might start taking console commissions, althou it might have to be limited to Australia only, as I can only get my hands on second hand pal machines. we shall see, i'm going to do a Wii next, and a friends has asked me to do one of her consoles so we'll just have to see.
for those that are wondering, these machines DO WORK. My dreamcast has been playing music all day while i have been cleaning up my living room, and this gamecube works wonderfully! it did have one niggle issue with the open and close button, but it had that before i started the paint job. you have to give and take with second hand machines sometimes and fix what you can. the dreamcast make over: [link]
I probably could, but i'd have to do it local atm, as i cannot afford to post and ship a game console internationally... that and if it's not a PAL system i will not be able to test it to double check it's working order after painting (i always check the systems over before painting and afterward to make sure i haven't created any issues and to see if there was any before i started.)
nope. the vents at the sides are not covered over ir anything. on the dc, that gets compressed air in the vent regular as the air vent is tiny, and my house is as dusty as hell and gets everywhere
Very awesome work, keep it up
i wonder, does the paint cause issues with overheating?
